Oversee purchasing processes, including order management and payment, while improving operations and creating bilingual manuals in Tokyo.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Verify, process, and manage purchase requests, orders, and payments.
- Improve operational processes and manage progress.
- Create bilingual English-Japanese manuals and various reports.
- Educate team members and provide support for external staff.
- Analyze procurement data and manage budgets and cost analyses.
- Ensure compliance with legal and financial regulations related to purchasing.
Required skills
- 2+ years of purchasing experience, particularly with IT-related products.
- Knowledge of payment procedures and invoice processing in procurement.
- Experience in process improvement and efficiency in procurement.
Preferred skills
- Strong attention to detail, ethical conduct, and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Familiarity with purchasing tools and team management experience.
