Are you a Talent and Development Specialist seeking a new opportunity in the SouthEast? My client, a leading global organisation, is looking to hire a Senior L&D Specialist to join their HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and facilitating support for cyclical talent management activities, project priorities, and managing development programs and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
Talent Development
- Analyse and identify root causes of individual and team issues.
- Provide recommendations to support talent development needs.
- Deliver and facilitate Talent Development courses, internal programs, and external learning solutions
- Establish credibility with the management population and provide positive and constructive feedback to participants.
- Assess the impact of talent development solutions and actions.
- Identify lessons learned and share results with individuals or teams to build learning.
- Measure and report on program effectiveness.
Talent Management
- Coach and provide feedback on 360-degree instruments, Insights®, and other assessments.
- Work with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to conduct team interventions and increase team performance.
- Design and develop sustainable solutions for complex problems in collaboration with internal subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.
- Identify external programs, resources, and vendors that meet business needs.
- Lead, manage, or participate in cross-functional or global Talent Management teams.
- Consult with business and functional leadership to understand problems and identify opportunities to enhance performance and develop talent.
- Anticipate future development needs based on business requirements and changes.
Learning and Development
- Serve as the site lead for Training and HR Community of Practice (CoP).
- Support audits from an L&D perspective.
- Develop strategies for external grant aid support for L&D.
- Lead processes for further education initiatives.
Key Requirements:
- Honors Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in performance consulting, talent management, or learning & development; HR knowledge or experience is helpful.
- Demonstrated experience in class and team facilitation and interventions.
- Ability to handle difficult and challenging questions and emotions positively.
- Working knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design for adult learners.
- Coaching skills with experience coaching individuals up to the Director level.
- Ability to establish solid, trusting relationships and maintain credibility with HR and business/function/region leaders.
- Strong influence and collaboration skills with team members, internal clients, stakeholders, and management.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to assess situations and propose options.
- Strong IT skills with the ability to use and learn various applications, systems, apps, and learning technologies.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative where appropriate.
