The Role:
Coordination of all planned, preventative and corrective maintenance activities across the site through SAP S/4HANA EAM. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organisation, working closely with Technicians, Engineers, Vendors and cross-functional partners to ensure maintenance work is scheduled, resourced and executed efficiently and in compliance with GMP standards. The applicant will have a methodical approach and work closely with production planning to ensure work can be scheduled effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work Planning: Develop detailed maintenance schedules for functional locations by creating maintenance routines, master inspection characteristics, safety rules, labour hours, and material lists, for calibration, preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance.
- Work Assessment: The ability to assess corrective maintenance and work with engineers, technicians and QA to determine the correct actions for maintenance issues.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Plan and schedule maintenance with key stakeholders, coordinating with production planning, supervisors, engineers, vendors and department managers to minimize disruption.
- Resource Management: Manage spare parts & tools with SAP SPP.
- Data & Systems: Maintain records on SAP PM, analyse maintenance history, and update procedures based on feedback. Manage continuous improvement of maintenance management. Weekly and monthly reporting for maintenance compliance.
- Maintenance process: Engineering review and approval of maintenance work orders.
- Implementation: Part of global SAP EAM implementation team, updating site maintenance SOP's, system testing and training of Maintenance and Engineering SAP EAM users.
- Compliance: Ensure all site maintenance management meets regulatory standards. Act as maintenance and Calibration representative for HPRA, FDA and internal audits. Review and approval of department SOPs and compilation of maintenance/engineering data to ensure cGMP compliance.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge: SAP S/4HANA, specifically SAP EAM and Service & Asset Manager. Knowledge of Maximo would also be an advantage.
- Technical: Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, calibration, equipment, maintenance strategies and compliance.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, coordination, prioritisation, and problem-solving.
- Experience: At least 5 years maintenance experience in pharma, biopharma, or medical device.
Education: Honors Degree in Engineering / Science or a related technical field.
