AVP Financial reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily finance operations and regulatory BAU, including journal entries, bank and broker reconciliations, client money segregation, and risk-based capital computations

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes

• Prepare and submit regulatory and statutory filings, including MAS returns, GST filings, and Corporate Income Tax

• Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors on audit and tax-related matters

• Support finance-related ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline; professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent) preferred

• 3-8 years of relevant experience in audit, financial reporting and/or regulatory reporting within a securities, brokerage, or capital markets environment

• Solid understanding of MAS regulatory requirements applicable to CMS licensees

• Familiarity with financial products including equities, bonds, and derivatives

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders

• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
