Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update treaty and facultative contracts within underwriting and accounting platforms, including all subsequent changes.
- Accurately input contract terms and conditions into internal systems.
- Review contractual terms and highlight ambiguities or amendments to underwriters for clarification and sign-off.
- Validate and process accounting statements and claim notifications.
- Take full ownership of a designated portfolio of accounts, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Follow standard procedures to resolve issues and escalate when necessary, proposing practical solutions.
- Oversee cash management activities, including setting up client accounts, initiating or tracking payments, and reconciling outstanding balances.
- Analyze internal data and generate reports to support decision-making and portfolio oversight for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor compliance with sanctions and embargo regulations; escalate any flagged results to Legal or Underwriting for further investigation.
- Foster strong client relationships by participating in internal discussions and representing the team in client-facing meetings or workshops.
- Serve as the primary contact for audits, maintaining accountability for documentation and process transparency.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in (re)insurance operations, with a focus on accounting, underwriting support, or contract management. Treaty and facultative accounting exposure preferred.
- Solid understanding of insurance and reinsurance practices, with a desire to expand technical expertise.
