QA Manager, long term contract

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business and project stakeholders to establish comprehensive test strategies and detailed test plans for all Testng activities across initiatives.
• Lead and coordinate test delivery by managing test environments, allocating team resources effectively, and maintaining strong communication and alignment with stakeholders on multiple concurrent projects.
• Build, nurture, and sustain a capable and motivated testing team capable of consistently meeting project timelines and quality expectations, while continuously developing team members' skills and expertise.
• Promote and implement test automation initiatives to optimize and reduce reliance on manual testing, while regularly evaluating and refining testing processes, methods, and test assets to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills Reqd

• Hold a university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• At least 10 years of proven experience in software/systems testing (Manual and Automation), including a minimum of 5 years in senior management roles leading testing teams; demonstrate a consistent history of successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects on schedule and to the highest quality standards.
• Hands-on expertise with leading test management and defect tracking tools; exhibit proven ability to lead diverse teams, foster high performance, and build effective relationships and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
• Proficient in English
