We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to be primary architect of the data landscape, specializing in the transformation of disparate data sources into high performance, structured environments that drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is a technical powerhouse who balances deep expertise in traditional SQL Server environments with modern Python-driven automation. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of data, from initial ingestion to the final delivery of optimized Star Schemas.

- Design and deploy sophisticated integration workflows using SSIS, ensuring high-volume data movements are reliable, secure, and performant.
- Lead the design of scalable data warehouse structures, focusing heavily on Dimensional Modeling and the implementation of robust Star Schemas.
- Utilize Python to build custom data connectors, automate repetitive tasks, and handle complex data transformations that go beyond standard SQL capabilities.
- Expertly tune SQL queries and SSIS packages, optimizing indexing and partitioning strategies to manage large-scale datasets efficiently.
- Establish data engineering best practices, conduct rigorous code reviews, and provide technical mentorship to junior team members.
- Work directly with stakeholders to translate business logic into technical data requirements, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of dedicated experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or a closely related field.
- Mastery of SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for complex ETL/ELT development and deployment.
- Strong command of Python (specifically libraries like Pandas and SQLAlchemy) for modern data engineering and pipeline automation.
- Deep understanding of the Kimball methodology, with proven success in building and maintaining Star Schemas.
- Advanced T-SQL skills, including the ability to write complex stored procedures and optimize execution plans.
- Experience managing the full data lifecycle, from source system analysis to data quality testing and documentation.
