Morgan McKinley are partnering exclusively with a leading ASX-listed Australian Property Firm, who is seeking an experienced 2LOD Risk Manager to join their team on a 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract to cover parental leave.
This role is a key part of the Legal, Governance, Risk & Compliance business unit and offers a chance to work within a strong team culture that encourages individual thinking and cross-training. This is an opportunity to make a real impact on the organisation, assisting with the development and implementation of the company's risk management framework.
You will report to the Head Of and partner with multiple internal and external stakeholders. The business offers hybrid working in the Sydney CBD and is looking for someone to join as soon as possible!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of the risk program, including scoping and planning risk assessments and facilitating workshops.
- Help business units to own their key risks and controls, and support them in using the enterprise risk management framework.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for business units, projects, and assets.
- Develop, analyse, and monitor risk metrics and support the preparation of risk reports for the Leadership Team and the Board.
- Help with business continuity, crisis management, and controls assurance activities.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in embedding an operational risk management framework across Funds Management, Property, Utilities or Financial Services.
- Demonstrated understanding of how to design, implement, and monitor risk management frameworks, strategies, and systems.
- Strong organisation, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong engagement and influencing skills.
- Data analysis skills using excel and Power BI along with experience using Protecht.
