Fire Safety Compliance Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Fire Safety Compliance Manager to lead the end-to-end management of the Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS) process across the extensive network of operational sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the Annual Fire Safety Statement process for all sites.
- Oversee the coordination, collection, and collation of inspection and testing reports from internal teams, tenants, and external contractors.
- Provide expert interpretation of Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC), and fire safety legislation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Ensure documentation reflects any updates to fire systems or assets resulting from capital or maintenance projects.

Key Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience managing AFSS processes or similar statutory compliance programs.
- In-depth understanding of AS1851, BCA/NCC, and fire safety regulations under the EPA 2021.
- Experience interpreting fire safety schedules, inspection reports, and maintenance records.
- Qualifications in Fire Safety, Building Surveying, Facilities Management, or a related field are desirable
