Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing business are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their finance team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of their financial reporting.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified/part-qualified accountant with 3+ years' financial accounting experience who is looking to take ownership of financial reporting, statutory accounts, controls and business partnering within a dynamic finance function.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly management accounts.
- Managing month-end and year-end close processes.
- Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analysing financial performance and investigating variances.
- Leading the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
- Supporting external audits and tax compliance.
- Assisting with cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Identifying opportunities for process and control improvements.
- Partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight.
Requirements:
- Newly Qualified OR Part-Qualified Accountant.
- 3+ years' experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and month-end processes.
- Experienced SAP user.
- Strong balance sheet reconciliation and statutory reporting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
