Our client, a leading international financial services institution, is searching for an accomplished Internal Communications VP to join their high-performing, fast-paced Corporate Communications team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a forward-thinking communicator with deep expertise in employee engagement, ideally gained within an investment bank.
A critical requirement is hands-on experience developing communication strategies for Front Office or revenue-driving divisions-partnering with senior executives and CEOs to articulate and cascade business strategies to employees.
As Vice President of Internal Communications, you will take a central role in shaping the organisation's employee messaging and engagement approach. Working closely with colleagues across the global Communications function, you will craft impactful narratives that strengthen alignment between employees and the firm's strategic objectives.
Your remit will involve simplifying complex financial and technical subject matter into compelling, accessible communications that inform, inspire, and connect colleagues throughout the business. Ultimately, your contribution will help drive clarity, commitment, and alignment to the company's vision and priorities.
Design and deliver integrated internal communication strategies that support enterprise-wide goals and business priorities.
Partner with teams across media relations, digital, and marketing to enhance employee engagement initiatives.
Work directly with senior leaders to shape messaging that brings business objectives to life for internal audiences.
Build strong partnerships across the broader communications function to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.
Evaluate communication impact using insights and data to refine and optimise future approaches.
Demonstrated success in internal/employee communications, preferably within large-scale B2B financial services organisations. Experience in investment banking, asset management, or capital markets is strongly preferred.
Direct experience supporting Front Office or revenue-generating divisions is essential, including advising CEOs and senior leaders on communicating business strategies.
Exceptional writing ability, with proven skill in developing content for multiple platforms (intranet, townhalls, digital channels, events, etc.).
Creative and strategic mindset with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Comfortable working at both the strategic and executional levels, balancing big-picture thinking with hands-on delivery.
