An established, highly regarded investment and wealth management firm is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join its Private Client distribution team in London.
This role sits at the heart of the sales function, providing proactive sales enablement and operational support to senior Business Development professionals. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders across marketing, operations, compliance and propositions to help drive commercial outcomes and deliver an excellent client experience.
This is a highly visible role, well suited to someone who enjoys supporting sales activity, managing multiple priorities and operating in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Partner with senior Business Development professionals to support the execution and ongoing review of sales and distribution strategy
Produce proactive and reactive sales intelligence, MI and pipeline reporting to support sales activity and decision-making
Own CRM management, ensuring data accuracy and effective use of Salesforce
Coordinate client events, meetings and roadshows to maximise client-facing time for sales teams
Proactively follow up on sales activity where required to support conversion and momentum
Work with internal stakeholders to produce client reporting, sales collateral and presentation materials
Act as an initial escalation point for client service and operational queries, coordinating with internal teams to resolve efficiently
Maintain strong product knowledge and awareness of market and competitor developments
Support risk mitigation by ensuring outputs are timely, accurate and aligned with internal service models
Liaise with proposal and due diligence teams on new business submissions
Conduct targeted research projects including adviser data, market intelligence and competitor analysis
Provide expert support on sales systems and tools, including CRM and content platforms
Experience in a sales support, sales operations or client-facing support role within financial services (wealth management, asset management or related sectors preferred)
Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM usage and pipeline management
Highly organised with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Confident communicator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Good understanding of the regulatory and competitive environment within financial services
Systems-savvy, with hands-on experience using Salesforce (or similar CRM platforms)
Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality output and service delivery
Relevant industry qualification desirable but not essential
