Top 10 City accountancy firm is seeking an Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager to join its London offices. You will oversee statutory compliance and provide accounting support for a diverse portfolio of medium and large companies across multiple industries, including consumer, technology, financial services, and private equity-backed businesses. Working closely with Partners and Directors, you will act as a trusted advisor, building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality solutions.
Oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring a premium service while identifying opportunities to contribute to the growth and development of the department.
Provide advisory and accounting support to clients, including assisting them through the audit process.
Maintain strong technical knowledge of IFRS, FRS102, FRS101, and Companies Act reporting requirements.
Manage project budgets, working capital, billing, and debt recovery to ensure engagements run efficiently and within agreed parameters.
Lead, mentor, and manage team members within the Accounting & Financial Reporting function, setting objectives and supporting professional development.
ACA or ACCA qualified with at least three years PQE managing client portfolios.
Commercial or industry finance experience is desirable.
Proven experience supervising and coaching junior staff.
Strong technical understanding of UK financial reporting standards, IFRS, FRS102, and Companies Act requirements.
Experienced with professional accounts preparation software
