Morgan McKinley is proud to be working in partnership with a rapidly growing FMCG company to recruit a technical and ambitious Financial Accountant who is keen to dive deep into the business, with the idea of driving change and operational performance!
Role
Working in partnership with the Finance Director you will be responsible for ownership of month end processes, coaching and mentoring of financial staff and reporting up to the senior leadership team.
Responsibilities for the Financial Accountant will include:
- Preparation and finalisation of the monthly accounts. Compliant to both Group reporting GAAP and GAAP appropriate for the relevant country
- Preparation of UK Statutory statements for provision of external audit
- Consolidation of multiple entities with different business operations.
- Ownership of several balance sheets and creating the month-end reconciliation.
- Building relationships and liaising with external providers such as tax advisors and auditors
Profile
- It is essential the Financial Accountant is a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA)
- Strong technical background with exposure to audit (internal or external).
- Able to support stakeholders.
- High attention to detail.
- Able to work within tight deadlines.
- Results orientated, with a desire to succeed.

Salary & Benefits
The role of Financial Accountant has a salary range of £45,000pa - £50,000
