Our client, a leading organisation within the animal health and veterinary services sector, is seeking a customer-focused Telesales Representative to join their team in Limerick on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced customer service or telesales professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships, delivering exceptional service, and working within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Telesales Supervisor, the successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for customers, supporting order processing, resolving queries, and ensuring a seamless customer experience across multiple communication channels.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a professional and friendly approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Deliver a high standard of customer service while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently across various ordering channels.
Respond to customer enquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via telephone, email, online ordering systems, and other communication channels.
Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
Take ownership of customer concerns, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
Keep customers informed throughout the resolution process.
Support customers with the installation and use of online ordering systems.
Accurately record customer interactions and escalate issues where appropriate.
Generate reports for both internal teams and customers.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate recommendations to management.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and business updates.
Provide general administrative and team support as required.
Previous experience in a customer service, telesales, sales support, or account support role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent listening skills and a customer-first mindset.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable learning and using new systems and technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of customer queries.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
