About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator / Accounts Administrator to join a busy and supportive finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to wider finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of supplier invoices in line with internal policies and procedures
- Support other Accounts Payable team members to meet operational workload requirements
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve supplier and invoice-related queries
- Generate purchase orders as required
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts to strict deadlines
- Maintain clear and effective communication with staff at all levels of the organisation
- Monitor records, reports, and controls to ensure accuracy and prevent errors or fraud
- Carry out additional duties appropriate to the role, as assigned by the Head of Accounts Payable
Requirements
- 2-3 years' experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Experience in accounts preparation is desirable
- SAP experience is an advantage but not essential
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team
