Tender Manager - Freight Forwarding

About the role:

An excellent opportunity to join a well-established freight forwarding company, playing a key role in managing RFQ processes and influencing strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQ documents and customer requirements to ensure alignment with business capabilities and strategic objectives.
• Manage the end-to-end tender process, including RFI, RFQ, and RFP stages through submission, award, and post-tender analysis.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and customers throughout the RFQ lifecycle, including handling clarifications and supporting commercial discussions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as procurement, commercial, and operations to prepare competitive and comprehensive proposals.
• Monitor RFQ progress and maintain close communication with stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality submissions.
• Maintain accurate records of RFQ activities, including pipeline status, participation metrics, submission deadlines, and results.
• Analyze outcomes and contribute to improving tender success rates in line with business objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in international logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding.
• Proven experience in tender or bid management.
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
