About the role
As an Assistant Accountant in banking , you will play a vital role in month-end closing, support the finace control and assisting the system enhancement
Responsibilities
- Responsible for General ledger by aligning the banking regulation and policy
- Support daily accounting operations, including data entry, reconciliations, and helping with month-end closing processes to meet reporting deadlines.
- Support system enhancements and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by performing basic testing tasks and reporting findings.
- Assist in reviewing account control policies to ensure they align with relevant accounting and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the banking industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in spoken Cantonese and written English, with proficiency in Mandarin
- Immediate availability or a short notice period is preferred
