Due to business growth, a global group and publicly traded MNC is now seeking an Assistant FP&A Accountant to join their collaborative finance team in Hong Kong.

About the role

Reporting to the Manager, this newly created Assistant FP&A Accountant could contribute to high-impact financial planning and analysis, support month-end reporting, and participate in exciting transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and ensure timely, accurate management reporting and financial analysis.
• Support month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and report generation.
• Assist in compiling monthly management reports and performance insights.
• Contribute to KPI analysis and performance tracking.
• Help develop forecasts and annual budgets.
• Participate in finance transformation and system integration initiatives.
• Handle ad hoc reporting tasks and projects, including SAP vendor master data management.

Requirements

• Bachelor or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in management reporting or FP&A.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective multitasking and time management abilities under tight deadlines.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Experience with SAP preferred; Oracle and OneStream knowledge is a plus.
