Our client is seeking to immediately hire an experienced Site Engineer in Kildare to work on one of Ireland's largest commercial projects!

Position: Site Engineer
Type: Full-Time
As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of this commercial project. You will be responsible for overseeing the engineering aspects of the site, ensuring that construction activities are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Management: Supervise and manage the day-to-day activities on-site, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Engineering Support: Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team, ensuring all engineering aspects are executed effectively.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure the project meets the required specifications and standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including site diaries, progress reports, and quality documentation.
- Liaison: Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project progression.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any technical or construction issues that arise during the project.
- Surveying: Conduct site surveys and setting out for various construction elements.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably on large commercial projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of surveying equipment and CAD software.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, health and safety regulations, and building codes.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
