Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations (OSHA, EPA, ISO, etc.).
Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections, and accident investigations.
Lead incident response and root cause analysis with appropriate follow-up actions.
Provide EHS training and awareness programs to employees and contractors.
Drive continuous improvement in safety performance through behavior-based safety, near-miss reporting, and other proactive measures.
Manage environmental reporting, permits, waste disposal, and sustainability initiatives.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and represent the company during inspections or audits.
Maintain EHS documentation, including SDSs, permits, and compliance reports.
Track EHS KPIs and report on performance metrics to senior management.
Support emergency preparedness and business continuity planning.
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, NEBOSH, or equivalent are preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in an EHS role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial position.
Experience in [insert industry, e.g., manufacturing, construction, logistics] is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of EHS legislation and regulatory compliance.
