Test Manager - Insurance

Our client, a global insurer group in Hong Kong, is seeking a Test Manager for their regional team.

• Lead testers in Hong Kong and other offshore team.
• Deliver quality work to our clients starts with understanding their needs and requirements. Write test strategy and plan, know how to allocate resources for testing to align with tighten testing schedule.
• Monitor and report the daily execution status and progress of each test phase to different stakeholders.
• Needs to identify the scope of the testing required for a particular release based on the requirements of the document.
• Must identify the testing effort required by calculating the sizing needed for the given release and plan the required effort for the same.
• Prepare testing related documentation such as test plan / test result.
• Conduct SIT defect triage and generate daily defect dashboard.
• Maintain documentation of testing evidence.
• Manage UAT Defect Management from IT with business and UAT team.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of work experience as test manager or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Good vendor management skill.
• Experience in Data implementation/Integration project.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
• Good communication skill.
