Contract Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for generating ad-hoc reports for marketing (10 different country) fulfilment
• Responsible for creating and maintaining Power BI datasets, dashboards and manage access for stakeholders with different roles from
  different countries etc.
• Responsible for moving data from source to source, building data workflows, data management, data governance, and maintaining
  solutions like cloud data warehouses and lakes.
• Responsible for creating database layers to support ad-hoc reports and insights
• Responsible to help build central data layers to enable data scientists and data analysts

Requirements:

• University graduate in IT, Computer science or related discipline
• 4 to 5years of work experience in Insurance industry as business analyst
• Knowledge of data warehousing/lake concepts, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, real-time streaming and data modelling
• Sound knowledge of AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS S3
• Proficicent in DBT, Airflow, DMS, GIT
• Good analytical, problem solving and organizing skills.
• Excellent understanding of SQL data storage structures and storage/query optimizations. (MySQL, Redshift and Dynamo DB)
• Proficient in core language: Python
• Experience in data visualization tools such as Power BI
• Strong understanding to build data pipelines
• Good English verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, with strong analytical skills - mandatory
