Tech Project Manager - Insurance

Our client is an international insurer, with a strong presence globally and regionally. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Business Analyst to join the team.

Experience Required:

• At least 7 years as a Project Manager or Tech Lead, or Squad Lead in software delivery (insurance experience preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a cross-functional squad in delivering high-quality mobile and/or web applications.

• Manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle-from planning to release-ensuring alignment with business goals and deadlines.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews).

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, Developers, QA, and DevOps for seamless execution.

• Engage with local and regional stakeholders, maintaining transparency and alignment.

• Identify and mitigate delivery risks, dependencies, and blockers.

• Monitor squad performance, optimizing velocity and quality.

• Ensure compliance with governance, security, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 7+ years in software delivery, with 5+ years in a leadership role (insurance domain preferred).

• Proven track record in delivering mobile/web applications in Agile (Scrum/Kanban).

• Strong knowledge of Agile tools (Jira, Confluence).

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with regional/cross-cultural teams is a plus.

• Cantonese speaking required.

Preferred Skills:

• Technical background in mobile/web development.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines & DevOps practices.

• Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, etc.) are advantageous.
