We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to lead and manage a dynamic Middle Office team. The role involves overseeing daily operations, driving process improvements, managing client relationships, and fostering staff development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, with expertise in areas such as Mutual Funds, FX, or Securities Lending.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Ensure smooth and accurate day-to-day operations, including timely product delivery and resolution of high-priority issues.
- Maintain quality client service and adherence to business standards and control measures.
- Handle escalations and ensure prompt resolution of key issues.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute a business plan aligned with the team's goals, organizational structure, and budget.
- Report on key performance indicators and progress to senior management.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members through training and performance management.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously review and improve processes, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency.
- Stay updated on new technologies and applications relevant to the department.
Client and Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain productive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support client retention and business development activities, including client visits and presentations.
- Collaborate with peers across business lines to achieve shared goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Expertise in one or more areas such as Mutual Funds, Foreign Exchange (FX), or Securities Lending is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage cross-office initiatives and collaborate with global teams.
