About the role:
The US sourcing company is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to join the Regional Sourcing team and lead the procurement of seasonal products, including lighting, indoor decorations, and holiday trees. In this critical role, you will be responsible for building and managing a global network of suppliers to ensure a consistent, high-quality, and cost-effective supply of seasonal products
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for a diverse portfolio of seasonal products
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., merchandising, logistics, quality control) to understand product requirements and ensure on-time delivery
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings
- Analyze spend data, supplier performance, and market conditions to optimize sourcing decisions
- Lead the development and implementation of policies, processes, and systems to improve sourcing efficiency and visibility
- Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior management on sourcing activities and initiatives
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in a sourcing or procurement role, with a focus on seasonal products
- Strong understanding of global supply chain dynamics, including production, logistics, and trade regulations
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proficient in using procurement and supply chain management software
- Proven track record of building and managing successful supplier relationships
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
