About the Client
Our client is a sizeable organization in Hong Kong, famous for its major impact on community development and sports entertainment.
They are currently driving a major corporate transformation project focused on upgrading their HRM and workforce management systems.
It is a 2-year extendable secondment contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the end-to-end technical design for a comprehensive corporate enterprise system revamp, focusing immediately on the deployment and integration of a brand-new Workforce Management (WFM) system.
- Define and govern the high-level system architecture blueprint, ensuring seamless integration with existing core platforms, payroll engines, and internal IT infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with senior business owners, HR stakeholders, and vendor teams to translate complex corporate workforce operational needs into scalable technical designs.
- Evaluate and select optimal third-party software products, frameworks, and cloud-native solutions to maximize application performance and compliance security.
- Direct technical delivery teams throughout the complete software development lifecycle, establishing strict engineering standards and conducting architectural code reviews.
- Manage complex cross-system data models and API sequence flows to maintain data integrity across multi-tier enterprise platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 8+ years of professional IT experience, with at least 3 years acting as a Solution Architect handling large-scale corporate application transformations.
- Proven track record in the design and delivery of Human Resource Management (HRM) systems or specialized Workforce Management (WFM) platforms (experience in HRM systems is a strict requirement).
- Technical proficiency in modern web/app frameworks, secure microservices, API gateway configurations, and cloud infrastructure architectures (AWS or Azure).
- Strong capability in relational/non-relational database design, system integration patterns, and data-flow modeling within complex corporate ecosystems.
- Outstanding leadership and stakeholder management abilities, with professional communication skills in English and Chinese.
