Position Overview
Our client is a well known intimate manufacturing company and they create high-quality intimate apparel. They run their own factories in China, Vietnam, and Cambodia. They are committed to sustainable manufacturing practices and innovative design and are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Merchandising Manager to join the team and drive merchandising strategy. 4 days work in China factory and 1 day in Hong Kong
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies to drive sales and optimize product performance.
- 4 days work in China factory and 1 day in Hong Kong back office.
- Responsible for product selection, pricing strategies, and inventory management, ensuring the offerings meet market demands while maximizing profitability
- Collaborate with design and production teams to align product development with market trends and customer needs.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform product assortment and pricing decisions.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in the supply chain to enhance product delivery and quality.
- Lead and mentor a team of merchandisers, providing guidance and support in executing merchandising plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Fashion, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in merchandising, preferably within the apparel or intimate apparel sector.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of using data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience working with manufacturing operations in Asia is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in relevant merchandising software and tools.
