Position overview
A Senior Designer (Intimate / Lingerie) is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end design process of lingerie and intimate apparel collections, from concept and trend research through to final sample approval, while partnering closely with merchandising, technical and production teams in Hong Kong and own factories
Key responsibilities
- Lead seasonal intimate / lingerie ranges, including concept creation, mood boards, sketches, CADs and tech packs.
- Conduct trend, fabric, trim and color research for global lingerie markets and develop theme boards and print/embellishment directions.
- Collaborate with merchandisers, technicians and factories on fitting, workmanship, costing and timeline follow‑up to ensure designs are commercially viable and production‑ready.
- Present design concepts and collections to internal stakeholders and key customers, incorporating feedback into design refinement.
- Oversee junior designers and provide creative guidance to maintain a consistent brand handwriting and quality standard.
Requirements
- Diploma or above in Fashion Design, Intimate Apparel, Textile or related discipline.
- Around 5-7 years' solid experience in lingerie / intimate design, preferably with manufacturers or brands servicing international markets.
- Strong sense of fashion trends in lingerie, body shapes, cutting, fitting and materials; hands‑on experience with lace, seamless, molding, and functional lingerie is an advantage.
- Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop and related CAD tools; 3D design exposure (e.g. Browzwear, CLO) is a plus.
- Good communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) to work with clients and PRC factories.
- Creative, detail‑minded, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
