We are helping a leading product-focused organization to identify a Mechanical Engineer to support complex new product development initiatives. This role will sit within a cross-functional project team and play a critical part in driving engineering excellence across innovative consumer products. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with Product Development, Sourcing, Production, and Industrial Design teams to deliver end-to-end product solutions

Lead and support complex new product development projects, including mechanical assembly design and integration

Conduct root cause analysis, Design for Lifecycle (DFL), simulation, and validation activities

Perform tolerance analysis and material interface studies to ensure product reliability and manufacturability

Work with a range of materials including PET, PP, and PC

Contribute to strengthening the team's core mechanical engineering capabilities, with a focus beyond basic 3D modeling
Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

5-10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in product development environments

Strong technical foundation in mechanical design, analysis, and problem-solving

Innovative mindset with the ability to drive engineering improvements and new ideas

Industry background is open; candidates from cosmetics, smartphone accessories, wearable devices, small appliances, emerging tech (injection molding), or food packaging are highly preferred
