Investment Analyst, Global Hedge Fund

Responsibilities

• Understand the firm and the relevant Asia Strategies Team's book of business, related commercial strategy and our investment thinking
• Contribute to the firm's exceptional client service and business development through creative thinking about how to generate insights and deliver key messages to the clients about the investment philosophy, strategies, performance and market outlook
• Strategise with Investment Strategists, Client and Business Development representatives, other Research teams and investment professionals to help develop the best approach to handle client requests and other commercial engagements, enabling high quality rapport building
• Apply analytical skills, market knowledge, and an understanding of the firm's investment methodology to create insights that help shape investment thinking across different engagements, to allow our the client facing team to tell the firm's investment story in a sophisticated way
• Other ad-hoc tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree holder from a globally reputable university, with an outstanding academic background
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Macro research
• Open to candidates from leading sell-side firms
• Excellent command of English and Mandarin
• Willingness to be based in Singapore or Shanghai for the 1st 12 months
