Responsibilities
Strategic Alignment & Portfolio Management
- Prioritization: Developing frameworks (scoring models, ROI analysis) to help the C-suite decide which projects to fund based on strategic fit.
- Benefits Realization: Tracking whether projects actually deliver the expected business value (e.g., cost savings, revenue growth) after completion.
- Strategic Roadmap: Managing the long-term project timeline to ensure it aligns with the company's 3-5 year goals.
Governance & Standardization
- Methodology Leadership: Selecting and implementing project management frameworks
- Standardization: Creating unified templates, reporting tools, and KPIs to ensure consistent quality across all departments.
- Compliance & Risk: Conducting Stage-Gate Reviews to audit project health and ensure regulatory or internal policy compliance.
Resource & Financial Oversight
- Resource Capacity Planning: Balancing human capital across the portfolio to prevent bottlenecks and resolve conflicts between competing projects.
- Budget Management: Overseeing the total portfolio budget and ensuring financial transparency, often working closely with the Finance department.
Executive Stakeholder Management
- Performance Reporting: Providing high-level dashboards to executives (CEO, COO, CIO) to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Change Management: Acting as a change agent to drive organizational shifts and break down silos between functional departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree holder
- At least 15 years of relevant experience gained from large companies
- Excellent command of Cantonese and English
