About the role
As a Trade Support Analyst in the Equity Derivatives (EQD) department, you will be responsible for providing operational support and ensuring the smooth execution of trades across various products, including Cash Equity, Listed Futures/Options, Portfolio Swap, Stock Borrow Lending, Structured Notes, and Warrant.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with traders, sales teams, middle office, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate trade lifecycle.
- Confirm and validate swap performance, funding interest with counterparties, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Address any trade discrepancies or issues that may arise during the confirmation and settlement process.
- Process corporate actions, post trade and life-cycle events
- Monitor and report any operational risks or control issues to management
- Perform implementation of new processing platforms and system enhancements
- Participate in New Product Approval process
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years' experience in middle office / trade support role
- Strong understanding of equity derivatives products, including Cash Equity, Listed Futures/Options, Portfolio Swap, Stock Borrow Lending, Structured Notes, and Warrant.
- Familiarity with trade confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proactive on taking up tasks
- Proficient PC sills including MS Office (Excel & VBA)
