Deputy Chief Financial Officer

This Hong Kong listed company with global exposure is looking for the Deputy Chief Financial Officer with the plan to succeed the Chief Financial Officer role in 3-5 years.

Core Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Developing budgets, forecasts, long-term financial plans, and analyzing performance to guide management decisions.
• Accounting & Reporting: Overseeing daily accounting, managing general ledger, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements, and preparing reports for stakeholders.
• Internal Controls & Compliance: Implementing policies, ensuring data integrity, managing audit processes (internal/external), and ensuring adherence to regulations (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).
• Strategic Support: Advising the CFO and senior management on financial strategy, investments, M&A, and fiscal implications of new projects.
• Operations Management: Managing the finance department's day-to-day activities, supervising staff, and improving financial processes and systems.
• Risk Management: Monitoring financial risks and ensuring robust internal controls to protect assets and data.
• Stakeholder Relations: Liaising with banks, auditors, government bodies, and other internal/external parties on financial matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a globally renowned university
• 18-20 years of proven experience
• Big 4 experience is strongly preferred
• Strong international background is preferred
• Native Mandarin and excellent command of English
