Responsibilities:
Oversee credit evaluation and portfolio oversight for lending activities primarily focused on clients in Hong Kong and mainland China.
Assist with centralized credit-related functions for structured lending across Asia, ensuring effective portfolio tracking and deal management.
Conduct in-depth credit assessments and monitor financial health of borrowers.
Preparing analysis on financials, cash flows, and covenant compliance.
Collaborate closely with business development teams to facilitate new deal closings and maintain ongoing oversight of existing credit exposures.
Ensure loan documentation aligns with internal policies and relevant regulatory standards, confirming proper documentation of credit terms and conditions.
Maintain active communication with clients, sponsors, co-lenders, and agents to strengthen relationships and gather necessary information for credit monitoring.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
3 to 5 years of professional experience in banking, with a focus on credit or portfolio management.
Solid knowledge of corporate credit analysis; experience with structured finance, real estate, fund lending, or large corporate deals is a plus.
Familiarity with the regulatory environment and collateral practices in China is desirable.
Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese (Simplified), with the ability to produce clear written reports and analysis.
