Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of global clients, developing client-centric solutions to mitigate payment risks, enhance working capital, and provide cash management solutions.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities within existing client accounts, expanding the geographic reach of customer relationships in coordination with global bankers.
- Monitor and assess the performance of transaction services and products set up for specific customers in collaboration with global and local product specialists.
- Negotiate deals, renew credit lines, and assist global bankers in renewing financial programs.
- Manage accounts by notifying affected customers of overruns and offering solutions to regularize debit positions.
- Accurately register, modify, and update customer business opportunities in in-house client management tools for pipeline and profitability reporting.
- Conduct an annual review of customer product and service pricing in collaboration with the Middle Office.
- Act as the first line of defence, understanding the Bank's risk appetite while balancing business objectives.
- Assess the creditworthiness of each client, recording proposals in the risk management tool and participating in committees to advocate for credit proposals and secure risk approvals.
- Stay informed about the regulatory and compliance framework that may affect operations.
- Adhere to all internal and external policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of substantial experience with NBFI clients, particularly in trade finance and transactional banking products.
- Strong knowledge of products and trends in trade finance, transactional banking, and general corporate banking services.
- Familiarity with general banking operations and related legal and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in preparing credit proposals is essential.
- Strong connections within the local banking industry and with leading Non-Bank Financial Institutions clients in Asia.
- Proven capabilities in business origination and structuring, with experience in insurance-covered transaction structures being an advantage.
- Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve objectives.
