About the role:
Our client is an MNC with a dedicated team of over 90 professionals in Hong Kong. They specialized in household products design and manufacturing for its EU and US retail and distributions. Considering business expansion, they are hiring an Assistant Logistics Manager to join the dynamic regional team. 10-12 years of relevant experience working in house, with a proven track record in managing regional logistics operations and operational efficiency are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies to enhance operational performance regionally
- Coordinate and manage regional logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations including Sales, Operations, PD & Merchandising teams
- Monitor and analyse logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies related to logistics and transportation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10-12 years of experience in regional logistics management, preferably in an MNC environment
- Working in a retail sourcing offices/ trading offices are preferred
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
