Temporary Financial Accountant (1-5 years Post Qual)

Morgan McKinley are working with a leading organisation within the medical and healthcare sector who are looking for an Accountant to join their finance team on a short-term basis. This is a great opportunity for an Accountant who is between roles, recently returned from travelling, or looking for a flexible short-term assignment while considering their next permanent move.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly management reporting and year-end accounts.
• Prepare month-end journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Complete balance sheet, bank and intercompany reconciliations.
• Assist with variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Support audit, controls and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to process improvements and finance function transitions.

About You

• Relevant accounting experience, ideally within a multinational environment.
• Strong month-end accounting and reconciliation experience.
• Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• ERP experience, ideally SAP or Oracle, is advantageous.
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
