Morgan McKinley is partnering with a leading pharma to recruit a Supply Chain Specialist to join its growing Global Operations team in Dublin.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional to take ownership of end-to-end supply chain activities on a global scale, ensuring exceptional service delivery to customers while managing key supplier and manufacturing relationships across multiple markets.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage end-to-end supply chain activities to ensure uninterrupted product supply and exceptional customer service.
- Create and manage POs in line with customer demand and operational requirements.
- Develop and maintain rolling forecasts, communicating demand trends and forecast changes to manufacturing partners.
- Coordinate production schedules and priorities with contract manufacturers to meet customer requirements.
- Monitor order progress, delivery timelines, and inventory availability, proactively resolving issues.
- Support S&OP activities to align demand, supply, and production plans.
- Maintain accurate ERP data and supply chain records.
- Provide timely updates on order status, production schedules, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate product shipments and support logistics activities across global markets.
- Identify supply risks and implement proactive solutions to minimise business impact.
- Support strategic projects and operational initiatives across the wider business.
Key Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience in a similar supply chain or planning role.
- Previous experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or life sciences sector is essential.
- Knowledge of import/export processes and logistics operations would be advantageous.
- Experience using ERP systems, ideally SAP.
This role offers hybrid working options with 1 days onsite a week.
