Planning Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Planning Specialist to join the planning team in, on a 12-month contract.

The successful candidate will play a key role in production scheduling, supply planning, master data management and new product introductions, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective planning and supply continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed daily and weekly production schedules using SAP APO.

• Generate medium-horizon supply plans using Kinaxis Rapid Response for in-house and third-party production lines, covering approximately 125 SKUs.

• Coordinate new product introductions, ensuring timely ordering of raw materials and scheduling of production.

• Support master data management, including updates and templates for mass uploads.

• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage planning requirements and priorities.

• Monitor and manage multiple tasks effectively, ensuring deadlines and business requirements are met.

• Support the wider planning function across production and supply planning activities.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in production scheduling using SAP APO.

• Experience with supply planning using Kinaxis Rapid Response.

• Experience managing master data updates.

• Experience in new product introduction and medium-horizon supply planning.

• SAP MRP experience is advantageous but not essential.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• The ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Good proficiency in Microsoft Office.
