Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to join an expanding procurement team. This is a contract role based in Dublin with hybrid working options.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing procurement function, supporting the delivery of sourcing strategies, supplier management, and procurement governance across multiple business categories.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead end-to-end sourcing projects from initial business requirement gathering through supplier selection, negotiation, contract award, and implementation.
- Manage and execute competitive tendering processes including preparation of RFI, RFP, and RFQ documentation, supplier evaluation criteria, and recommendation reports.
- Build, develop, and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent service delivery, cost competitiveness, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor supplier performance against agreed KPIs, service level agreements, quality standards, and delivery timelines, implementing corrective action plans where necessary.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential supply chain risks including supplier dependency, market volatility, regulatory changes, and operational disruption.
- Support supplier onboarding activities including due diligence, compliance verification, sustainability assessments, and contractual alignment.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including finance, operations, legal, and senior leadership to understand business needs and provide procurement expertise.
Key Requirements:
- 4+ years' experience within procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations. Experience within financial services is advantageous.
- Experience supporting structured sourcing events and managing supplier engagement within regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of procurement governance, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with procurement platforms such as Coupa or similar systems.
- Experience analysing supplier submissions, validating documentation, and resolving procurement-related operational issues.
