Job Title: Site Manager - Tier 1 Main Contractor
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Contract: Full-Time Permanent
Role Overview:
As Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day on-site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. You will play a key role in leading the site team, coordinating subcontractors, managing stakeholders, and maintaining a high level of quality throughout the build.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all on-site activities to ensure smooth project delivery
- Supervise site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring they adhere to the program and quality requirements
- Ensure that all health & safety regulations and company standards are strictly followed on-site
- Monitor project progress, including timelines, budgets, and resources
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure communication and expectations are well managed
- Identify and mitigate any potential risks or issues on site
- Ensure materials are delivered and work is completed according to the design specifications and quality benchmarks
- Reporting regularly to the Project Manager on the status of the project and any issues
- Oversee the use of plant, materials, and equipment, ensuring the effective allocation of resources
- Contribute to site meetings and provide input on progress and solutions to any challenges
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in site management, preferably with a Tier 1 Main Contractor
- Previous experience working on large-scale residential or mixed-use developments
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and health & safety standards
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with modern construction techniques and an understanding of sustainable building practices
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Full, clean driving license
