We are seeking an experienced and driven Branch Manager to lead the operations and sales function of a high-performing branch. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on branch development, operational efficiency, and people management across key performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of branch performance, driving sales and profitability.
- Develop and maintain relationships with large-scale builders and contractors, leading high-value negotiations.
- Oversee daily branch operations, including stock management, purchasing, and supplier engagement.
- Lead, support, and develop the sales team to achieve individual and branch targets while delivering excellent customer service.
- Manage customer accounts, pricing structures, and contracts in collaboration with the credit control team.
- Ensure the yard operates safely and efficiently, including regular checks and maintenance on trucks and forklifts.
- Monitor branch KPIs, continuously identifying areas for improvement and growth.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven track record in sales, with strong experience negotiating with large-scale or key clients.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with strong people management and team development skills.
- Experience in stock control, purchasing, and supplier relationship management.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and developing long-term customer relationships.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse or yard environment.
