💶 Salary: €50,000 + €3,000 travel allowance
🕒 Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights/weekends), 24/7 operation

We are working on behalf of a leading operator in the low-carbon energy sector to recruit an experienced Shift Operator for a high-performing facility based in Dublin. This site plays a vital role in transforming residual waste into renewable energy, operating continuously with advanced process controls and strict environmental standards.
This is a permanent, full-time role, ideal for someone with a background in process, utilities, or industrial plant operations who thrives in a technical, safety-focused environment.
🔩 Key Responsibilities

Operate plant systems through DCS and control room interfaces

Monitor equipment and processes to ensure safe and efficient operation

Perform routine inspections and initial fault response

Maintain accurate shift records and contribute to safe handovers

Respond to alarms, safety events, and operational changes as needed

Support maintenance and engineering teams during interventions
✅ Requirements

Experience in a process-driven or high-risk industrial environment (energy, utilities, manufacturing, or similar)

Good mechanical or electrical understanding

Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts on a 5-week cycle

Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental protocols

Technical qualification (Cert/Diploma or equivalent) preferred

Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
