Senior Manager - Corporate & Commercial Banking | Dublin | 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Our client, an international financial institution with ambitious growth plans in the Irish market, is seeking a Senior Manager - Corporate & Commercial Banking to join their Dublin-based team. The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Corporate & Commercial Banking, you will play a pivotal role in originating new business, assessing credit risk, preparing and presenting credit proposals, and managing high-value client and intermediary relationships. This position offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a newly established banking division.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business origination across the Corporate & Commercial Banking portfolio.
- Develop and manage relationships with SMEs, corporates, multinational clients and key intermediaries.
- Prepare high-quality credit applications and present recommendations to Credit Committees.
- Structure lending solutions while identifying, assessing and mitigating credit risks.
- Produce term sheets and oversee deal execution through to completion.
- Conduct sector and market analysis, identifying new business opportunities and presenting findings to senior leadership.
- Monitor portfolio performance, pipeline activity, profitability and key business metrics.
- Maintain the highest standards of client relationship management, credit quality and operational risk.
- Support the implementation and enhancement of business processes, controls and governance.
- Collaborate with colleagues across business, risk and support functions on strategic initiatives and projects.
About You
You'll bring a strong track record in Corporate or Commercial Banking with proven experience managing complex lending transactions and developing lasting client relationships.
You'll ideally have:
- 5-10+ years' experience within Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking or Business Banking.
- Strong expertise in corporate lending, credit analysis and financial structuring.
- Experience preparing and presenting complex credit proposals to Credit Committees.
- Knowledge of bilateral, club and syndicated lending transactions.
- An established network of corporate clients, professional introducers and intermediaries.
- Excellent relationship management, business development and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial judgement with a sound understanding of risk management.
- The ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate confidently at all levels.
- A relevant third-level qualification and/or professional financial services qualification.
