We are currently hiring on behalf of a Legal firm based in Dublin 4 for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team. This position has come about due to internal promotion and will suit a candidate with strong experience in the Property and Conveyancing sector. You will work closely alongside a second Legal Secretary to provide support to the partners.
This firm offers a nice working culture in a busy office with a collaborative team environment. Due to the nature of the work, you will be based fully onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support to partners
- Scanning incoming post and uploading documents to case management systems
- Dictaphone typing and preparing documents
- Drafting and amending letters related to contracts for sales, deeds, transfers and leases for fee earner review
- Drafting responses to objections, requisitions on title, and pre contract enquiries
- Handing incoming communications on behalf of fee earners, including calls and emails
- Scheduling meetings
- Scanning and preparing document packs
- Organising swearing of documents with a Commissioner for Oaths or Practising solicitor
Key requirements:
- Minimum 4 years experience working with conveyancing / property in a Legal environment
- Previous experience working with a Legal case management system
- Excellent attention to detail
- Full working authorisation in Ireland
- Proven experience in drafting high quality legal documents
- Available for an immediate start
