We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our client, a well-known organisation in the Non-Profit Sector based in Dublin West.

The Senior Financial Accountant, reporting directly to the Financial Controller, holds a crucial position in the Finance Department. Responsible for preparing monthly Financial Statements and Consolidated Management Accounts, this role contributes significantly to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create monthly management accounts that are accurate, effective, and delivered in a timely manner, adhering to best practices outlined in FRS102 SORP.
· Collaborate with the Financial Controller to develop and review the annual budget, closely monitoring the budget versus the actual budget and providing explanations for significant financial changes.
· Prepare monthly rolling forecasts, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow supported by detailed analysis.
· Offer cost analysis and assess the impact on the Budget/Forecasts, allowing the Financial Controller to evaluate the actual performance in comparison to the planned targets.
· Assist the Financial Controller in preparing Financial Statements Notes for external audit and presentation to the Board for approval. This includes generating comprehensive supporting analytic data to ensure alignment with established best practices outlined in FRS102 SORP.
· Support the organisation's Statutory Financial annual audit in line with senior management.
· Develop financial modelling techniques to improvement the understanding of the financial information within the organisation.
Candidate Requirements:
· ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA Qualified Accountant
· 3+ years of experience with Financial Accounting/Management Accounting within the Non for Profit/Public Sector or Industry sector.
· Proficient in Excel
· Ability to work collaboratively as a team and communicate well with colleagues and stakeholders
· Ability to work on deadlines
