I am partnering with a leading Global Tech organisation on a SeniorAccountant position. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will work as part of the Accounting team in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
This role is a fully remote position with the option to work from the office (based in Dublin city centre) if required.
This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for a longer term role.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with FP&A on monthly reviews and insights.
- Run Adaptive reporting; analyse forecast vs. actuals to identify variances and root causes.
- Lead and present the monthly close review with senior management.
- Prepare & own the management fee calculations in accordance with the Transfer Pricing policy.
- Coordinate with Transfer Pricing to maintain reporting requirements for management fees.
- Produce the monthly Executive Summary for the P&L & lead the call with Senior Management and the Reporting team to chat through the results.
- Oversee Global accounting; ensure monthly accrual and cost accuracy; liaise with vendors to validate invoice allocation.
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the month-end close to ensure timely execution.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations monthly.
- Prepare and annually review control documentation across processes.
- Propose, design, and implement process improvements to drive efficiency.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience, post-qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Proven experience in a multinational, multi-entity, and multi-currency environment (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight across concurrent projects and cross-functional teams
- Responsive, professional support for internal stakeholders with timely follow-through
- Skilled at prioritizing in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS reporting
