Morgan McKinley is excited to be looking for a skilled Senior Facility Engineer to lead the strategic and operational management of our clients facilities. You will ensure the efficient operation of all building systems while maintaining a safe environment for occupants. Additionally, you will manage the site's energy and sustainability program, driving initiatives to optimize energy usage and promote sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure efficient operation of high-energy consumption assets such as AHUs, gas systems, lighting, and manufacturing utilities (compressors, nitrogen systems).
- Manage the site's energy and sustainability program, monitoring energy usage to optimize resource efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to forecast and manage utilities budgets.
- Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with facility support contractors to ensure peak performance.
- Identify and implement opportunities for Government-Supported Schemes that promote energy efficiency.
- Partner with the EHS team to ensure compliance with corporate and local energy legislation.
- Lead energy reduction initiatives, prepare capital expenditure proposals, and manage projects from approval to completion.
- Support reliability engineering programs for facility assets, including performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Relevant Qualifications
- Proven experience in facility and energy management, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of high-energy systems (AHUs, gas, compressors, etc.).
- Experience with sustainability and energy reduction programs.
- Ability to manage capital expenditure projects and deliver on time and within budget.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements for energy usage and government schemes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on efficiency and problem-solving.
