Senior Client Relationship Manager

Our client is a leading organisation within the global asset management and financial services sector, providing a broad range of operational, administrative, and support services to institutional investors. They work with clients such as asset managers, insurance firms, pension funds, and other financial institutions, offering solutions that support the full lifecycle of investment operations.
The Senior Client Relationship Manager will manage a designated portfolio of clients and ensure the delivery of high-quality, professional services. The role includes acting as the primary point of contact, managing ongoing relationships, and supporting clients with new fund launches and service enhancements.
Main Respsonsibilities:
- Act as the main contact for an assigned portfolio of clients.
- Organise and attend regular review meetings and calls with clients.
- Resolve client queries promptly and efficiently.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of client needs to identify opportunities for process improvements or additional services.
- Attend client board meetings and coordinate internal departmental participation.
- Ensure issues from previous meetings are followed up and prepare for anticipated discussion items.
- Keep clients informed about products, services, and relevant developments.
- Keep management updated on any issues relating to clients.
- Support clients in launching new funds or services.
- Ensure all documentation and required forms are maintained and completed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address operational issues and communicate appropriately with clients.
- Participate in ad-hoc local or group projects.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across internal departments and with clients.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Client Relationship Manager within the funds industry.
- Experience leading, presenting, and participating in board or client meetings.
- Strong working knowledge of at least one area: fund accounting, transfer agency, custody, trustee services, or financial reporting.
- Good understanding of regulatory developments within the funds industry.
- Strong project management skills.
- Degree in business or a relevant field (or equivalent professional qualification).
